Children's top picks for Christmas

Cell phones, clothes, video games and lollies are at the top of New Zealand children's Christmas wish lists, whilst requests get as bizarre as "moon cheese", according to Telecom's Santa Line.

A Telecom spokesperson said the phone line has been inundated with thousands of calls a day, which are expected to exceed last year's total of 700,000.

Children had also sent more than 1600 hundred emails and 800 texts to date.
