1. Across the top of the page, list the categories of your own beliefs you wish to review. (for example, money, social life, sex/marriage/intimate relationships, religion/spirituality, work/career, family.
2. Next, under each heading start listing your beliefs (WHAT YOU BELIEVE) about each topic. (For example, “Money is the root of all evil.”, or “Home is where the heart is.”)
3. Review what you have recorded in each column. If you find beliefs that appear to contradict each other, circle them. Conflicting beliefs are an energy drain, and will cause you to be indecisive and lack focus in your life. Find a way to resolve the conflict. (Hint: Hypnosis is one therapy that can help.)
4. Now, review each belief. Is it: (a) REALLY your belief? (b) Empowering you in your life or holding you back? Only keep the beliefs that are truly how you feel deep down in the core of your being and that help you accomplish the goals you want to accomplish in life.
Self Defeating Beliefs
