Cambodia's Angkor rainforest shot by NASA

From this photo, we can see clearly the main structure of Angkor, with the moat surrounding and farmland. Angkor is also known as the Angkor temples in Cambodia's north-west. Its original name is Vrah Vishnulok, meaning "Visnu shrines."

Three tropical storms simultaneously came

In 2006 August 7, three strong tropical storms simultaneously came over the Western Pacific, and NASA shot the photos. They were called: Tropical Storm "Baoxia" (BOPHA), Typhoon "Sang America" (SAOMAI), and Strong tropical storm "Maria" (MARIA).

Indonesia tsunami

On December 26, 2004 Indonesia has encountered unprecedented scale of the tsunami. And Aceh was the one the most serious victims. There was a magnitude 7.9 earthquake triggered a tsunami on Sumatra and affect a dozen countries on the coast of Indian Ocean. This caused more than 20 million people dead or missing, and nearly 170,000 people dead or missing in Indonesia.

Zimbabwe testing reaction area before and after the damage

These two photographs of the testing reaction region was taken in 2002 and then in in 2006 which looks nearly unmanned. They show you the huge change of there in only 4 years. Such results put down to a controversial operation of the Zimbabwe government, which had made about seven hundred thousand people homelessin 2005.

The volcano ash in Peruvian

The white ash thing is an eruption of ash of the Ubinas volcano in Peruvian. This photograph was took onAugust 14, 2006 in this volcanic eruption first hour. Huge smoke with volcanic ash to make it looks more like an extraterrestrial celestial body.

An artificial mainland in Dubai

This picture was taken in July 16, 2004. The map looked like a strange island is located in the Persian Gulf city of Dubai. The island with an area of about 800,000 square meters, is expected to be completed to accommodate about 600 families. there are also theme parks, shopping malls and cinemas on it, which is an ideal artificial mainland.
